We have a brewery near here called Dogfish Head which is better than most. Husband especially likes their 90 Minute IPA - a very hoppy India Pale Ale.

I've heard of that! It has been mentioned a few times on one of the home brew forums I (in)frequent.
Most beer you make youself is better than you can but (cheaply anyway, I like Kronenburg)

Well and any american beer pretty much is gross.

Home brew scotch is better for the same reason, 50% alcohol/Volume = 2 drinks per night... exactly what the doctor said was acceptable ;-)

Has anybody watched the BBC series 'Life on Mars', did you feel like you wanted to drink scotch after watching an episode.

I was never a whiskey drinker until that series... I did buy a bottle of Vat 69 after 'Band of Brothers' (thats all they drank in that series) but wasn't a big fan of it... Until Life on mars.... I have gone through 3 bottles this year. I opened a bottle of Black Label a few weeks ago, its a good change... bit more refined... lol

Better he knows now so he can get one, and have more years to spend with it than those of us who wait until we're 50 to realise we need a life...
