I haven't watched network tv since christmas when I was at Mum's for the holidays. You forget how horrible ads are until you have to watch them again.

Not sure whether this is my favourite, as I enjoy docs on nature, but Banana Wars certainly was an eye opener.

I was hoping for a doc on Smedley Butler but I doubt it will be an American funded doc. :)

I saw a nature one on wolverines many years ago; there is a new ish one (?) on wolverines from Finland that is supposed to be good (haven't seen it yet) :)

Ooh yeah so true. I'm quite happy to not have an aerial installed in this house. Watching a tv show or movie with ads feels so wrong now.

Anyone watched the sugar film yet? Pretty interesting. I must admit I couldn't live life without sugar.

"911: In Plane Site" is a favourite of mine because of the 9/11 conspiracy theories.

A couple of my favorite docos:
Power of Nightmares, BBC doco in 3 parts it talks about neo-cons, the war on terror and al quaeda. But it's not a conspiracy doco and is well researched.

Heroin Wars, another 3 part BBC doco, filmed over 30 years in Burma, Thailand and HK, it features interviews with DEA officials, Khun Sa.

There was a dog doco mentioned, not sure if it was Secret Life of a Dog, which is also great.
