BK - I don't think you need to READ all the posts. Important thing is to be observant and watch your fish, which it sounds like you do. Becomes pretty clear when there is a problem (father's intuition and shit :wink: ).

The guys at the local aquaculture farm here said flashing can be general agression too. We saw the fish in their ponds doing it while swimming around.

I did 3ppt and it cleared ICH pretty well - see no reason to increase above that. VB went 4ppt and said he could taste salt in the plants

umm, well the water isn't going into the plants as yet, and if it does it will be diluted through the 10000L

I don't seem to have an ICH problem. My fish came from Ausyfish at Childers.

In future, however, I'll quarantine any new fish in a hospital tank until I'm sure that they are clean. That's pretty much recommended practice with any small livestock.

the water temp this arvo in the ibc was only 26oC

The monster sits at about 28oC
