Jaymie, I guess they didn't see the movie, The Piano, with Holly Hunter.

Good job Mssrs. Downing, Mahler and Bolt! Keep getting the message out to the public.

Now Ben and Harry, my only advice is DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT allow the next appearance of your name be under the local court reports like so many of our students do. "John Doe, age 20, public indecency", (urinating in public after visiting one of the bars). :(

Yep, too many of them can't hold it the four or five blocks to campus.

I can just imagine the "big" interview with the Fortune 500 company, after graduation... "Mr. Doe, we see here that you had a conviction for public indecency. Would you care to elaborate on it?" Or how about the political candidate... On second thought it seems like most of them are not known for having better judgement anyway.

Hi there,
I'm new to aquaponics, but plan to start up a system in my home this December. I have some experience with marine tanks after working at the melbourne aquarium for years and running a small 200L system in my marine class room at school but would love to integrate a freshwater system at school.

It would be great to get any advice you may have for setting up a system in Melbourne as I think that the hands-on learning opportunities are absolutely fantastic. I am currently teaching in NSW until the end of the year, but will be returning to my Melbourne school, a science and technology public school, in 2008 and would love to get aquaponics working there.

I'm sure you are aware of the AUSSI school projects, but strongly recommend you check it out if you are not already a sustainable school.

This truely integrated project would tick of so many of the boxes. An amazing project.
Well done.

Just one question - Where do you get the time to do it!????

Also, have you heard of the International riverhealth conferences?
It would be graet iof you could share your wealth of knowledge, or even better- get you students to share theirs with other australian students.
