Can't, I have 20 packages to address, and mail...

Typical day of late for me today, have responded to and sent 25 emails, burnt and printed about 30 dvd's and 30 cd's, had over half a dozen phone enquiries, now have to try and get as many of these parcels out as I can before the post office closes.... :P It's all good though..... :D

LOL.

Hey VB, there isn't much in those arc welders.......like VERY not much! You'll probably find its just a loose or snapped wire aslong as its not blowing fuses. If you feel handy and have a multi-meter i might be able to PM you through fixing it

Steve - it is a Cigweld Compact Turbo. It has an automatic cutoff for cycling. It now cuts off about 4 or so seconds after striking the weld. Friggin useless.

sounds like a dodgy thermal switch, they're usually embedded in the windings for motors, not sure about the welders, not really a item you can change if its embedded. You could by-pass it, but me condoning that may not be the smartest thing to do. Whe i get around to it i'll be installing a large fan into my welder, as its not meant for long duty cycles. When i was using it for an hour or so last time it started cutting out on internal thermal overload quite a bit towards the end.

You don't have schematics in the instructions do you?

SHHHHHH, warren, what i'm trying to get him to do is bypass the thermal protection so the welder will spontaneosly combust therefore offering ITSELF to pyros.

Just kidding VB
