If you are talking about your avatar... use your PC's image resizer to change your image to 120x120 pixels than go into your User control panel, then profile, then avatar. You can upload your image there.

Dose resize just mean crop

No, resizing shrinks the whole image... cropping just selects a part of the image...

I use an app called simple resize to shrink my photos on the iPad. It is free.
