Hmm. Looking at a whole pile of baby magpie photos on google and certainly there are lots that look like this one. My babies dont look as cute and fluffy as that bird either.

This one can not even walk. It has trouble standing, just like a drunk.

My wife has gone mad since I found this bird. Even she is trying to talk with it.

I rang a animal sanctuary and was told to take it to a local vet. They took it off my hands. No more stress about how to care for a bird.

You should take wildlife to certain vets as not all of them will take on board a wild animal if no one is paying the bill. I had a beautiful brushtail possum that took residence in my roof at times and was around for about 4 years. She had 2 babies in that time and was such a joy. She was poisoned by a neighbour who obviously hated her spending a night in their roof and I found her in the carport struggling to breath.
The local vet was only interested in me paying before helping this wild possum .It wasnt till i told him I would foot the bill. Poor thing died in a few hours and cost me $180. I didnt hesitate at the cost but that was ridiculous
