I just saw these cute little bags in Bunnings .. they were $9.95 or thereabouts. Made from plastic mesh and had plastic re-inforcing struts to hold them open in a cube shape. I think they would make fantastic isolation pens for anyone needing to separate fish in a large tank. (I use a small version as a fry cage - but the mesh is the same size!)

I in a local hydroponics shop I just saw this great little hyroponic fitting .. about $ 3.00.

It screws onto a piece of black threaded retic riser pipe and has 8 outlets for small bore tube ..

U want a photo?

I find myself walking through crazy clarks and overflow shops, lookinf to see what cheap stuff there is that I can adapt to my aquaponics system, or use as material for an aquaponics idea...

pics would be nice!

So I'm guessing that you decided to buy the little fitting Johnnie, if your able to take a photo... Sounds a little like a fitting I saw once on a retic site, I was going to use it for my large growbeds, retic pipe coming down to the centre of the bed, then distribution pipes spreading out to the edges from the middle fitting...

Here is a pic of the fitting:-

I think the distribution bore size is a little tiny so well filtered water would be essential.

I have been looking for a fitting just like that - I was going to try making something myself.

I will have to try the hydro shops up here

Not quite what I had imagined - I pictured a 'star' pattern...
My system is nowhere clean enough for pipes that small...
