Ian must have seen the picture I posted of my keyboard a little while back, or perhaps he is just sick of my typos..

Anyway, today a nice shiny new keyboard arrived.... :)

Thanks Ian.... I guess now I shall just have to retire the other one as a spare, strange I do get attached to keyboards, I guess when your intimate with them all day every day they get comfortable.. I did try a new one a while back when I got a new computer here but I didn't like the keyboard, too noisy and uncomfortable.....

This one though seems nice, very similar to my old one... Microsoft do make a good keyboard..

I have a stack of old keyboards in a cupboard that I employ standard stock rotation with. When I pour coffee into one, I put it at the back of the cupboard, and pull out the one at the front. The one at the front typically stopped working a year ago when I pored coffee into it.

I don't know why but they cure themselves in my magic cupboard.

I'm guessing ants and or bacteria eat all the yummy stuff from within the keys.

I spill a lot of coffee.

Dont throw away your old keyboards, even when mrs bullwinkle threatens to leave you over them.... and cords... you can never have enough cords.

One day there's going to be some kind of analogue, left handed cable disaster with a 60 year old Russian reactor that only my cable box can solve.... you'll see.

I have a whole room at home for that sort of thing.... :)

I did find myself throwing out a whole stack of stuff last year that was getting well beyond use.. After throwing out all the 3 1/2 inch floppy drives I still had hanging around, I realized that the old 3 1/2 inch floppies aren't much good any more either...

Hundreds of d connectors and adapters of various sizes, attached to all different sorts of cables... Ancient video cards and Lan cards... I still have a couple of old ball mice (or is it mouses) that I've kept hold of.. :)

I only use the Bluetooth keyboard and mice now. 10mtr range. So I can sit on the lounge and use the plasma as a monitor. :D
