Greatings from Kununarra.
It's taken me 2 months but I've finally caught a fish worth showing you. After hearing the barra have been going off the bite I decided to do a trip on Lake Argyle instead. Came home with this beauty, a 10kg Silver Cobbler (aka dirty big catfish) as well as another about 2-3 kg. Went down well for dinner, and will be having some more tomorrow. Heading to Katherine and Darwin soon.

Stopped off for a look at some barra at Mataranka. This bloke has 1m fish in his pond at his caravan park. He catches them locally and puts them into a tank at his house to train them to eat dead pilchards, then transfers them to the pond. In the warm weather he can hand feed them, and pick them up for a pat

Nice looking pond too
"Hey Athena, we could do this to our pool ..."

Mt Isa... Longreach... Brizzie.... not a bad shortcut that one KEII...

When I left Tennant Creek to head back home... propped a bag on the accelerator... plugged in the TV.... and pointed the car in the direction of Longreach....

Funny thing was... it always looked like it was just up ahead.... for about 4 hours...
