The beer will also make a nice slug trap. So watch out for solids in your beer. :mrgreen:
They also make a nice work bench for gardening stuff. Just push a empty pot into the clay until you have water inside and drop cutting in there until you can get them in the ground.

I can't imagine the beer staying there long enough to be cooled by a flood cycle ;-) Way too much beer last night. We had a 'Home Brew Off' 7 beers from 4 brewers. One was 10% or about 20 proof!!
