Just got off the phone with the guys frm DPI&F again (they phoned me again)... They wanted me to know that if you purchase your redclaw from a licensed breeder/dealer etc, that you can keep as many as you like (even more than if you cought them in a dam) - but still only if it is for personal use and not resale... They emphasised that you should keep and file your reciepts of where your boughgt them just to be safe!
The more I have had to do with the DPI&F folks, the more I like them... I would like to thank Michael from the Cairns branch of the DPI&F for looking into the laws regarding keeping them for own use aquaculture and school use aquaculture.
