A few years back, I worked in Antarctica.
The girls were issued with a similar device as standard field equipment.
(No need to drop the thermal underwear in extremely cold weather)
Affectionately known as a piss-a-phone
Not sure how often they actually got used....

my wife laughed at the idea until we were stuck in a bush with no toilets around. from then on she never left home without it. best $10 we have spent if just for the laughs.
