I can catch unlimited amounts of these in the spring. They come up to shore and feed heavily while spawning April-June. I have one in my aquarium but can not get them on pellets. Worms and minnows are all they want. They are similar to Tilapia but get mushy when the the water warms above 65 f. Nice 13 plus inches  They one in my aquarium will eat worms from my hand
