I have been wondering what those guys are doing in front of the VAT of an afternoon with the nets. Hopefully they don't attract any more sharks to the area!

Enjoyed a bucket of whitebait gifted from the pros down in front of the VAT restaurant. Cant compete on size, but so nice fried up. Simply dusted in flour and salt. Double fried to get nice and crispy. Tried just salted, dipped in vineger, soy sauce mix and Aioli. Got to say vinegar the best (suggested by smallest child). |
