I have three mountain pawpaw plants which are doing very well but I think that I may have three males. When I bought them the man told me that he thought the two big ones were female and the small one was the male .Since then the two big ones have about trebled the size of the small one but all the buds apear to be the same.Is it possible that they may be bisexual. The flowers on the trunk have a very short stem and the ones on top are on a long stem.

Well they are different looking flowers to mine Don. I posted a pick of mine on my thread.
Yours are yellow, mine are white.

Did you cut the trunk of your pawpaw to get it to branch like that?

No Rick, they are the leaves right at the top and the flowers at the top are on a long stem and the lower ones are right on the trunk but all the flowers look the same.I will have to consider cutting the top soon as they are nearly hitting the roof.If they are all males then I may have to consider another option.
