Gday Hunter, I think you will find that is a Guava. I can't tell what variety, but most of them are tastey Cheers Dennis |

Yep, definitely a guava, looks a little like an Indian guava.. Here's a site with pics.. http://www.tradewindsfruit.com/guava_pictures.htm If it is an indian guava, they are beautiful, the smell of the ripe fruit is intoxicating, one fruit sitting in your kitchen will fill the house with a beautiful aromatic fruit sad type smell. And the leaves have amazing medicinal properties. |

Yes. Definitely a Guava. Ripens on the tree itself. Wait till it turns pale yellow or yellow before you pluck it. It is rather delicious! |
