Our new system's ph was 7.2 this morning after 24 hours' rain. Tonight it is up to 7.63. TDS is 500. I am adding 5 small tilapia tomorrow as a test. Should I add phDown tonight to bring the ph down? I have bottles of water to which phDown was added a week ago. Readings are as follows: 1ml added to 5 liter = 3.18 .5ml added to 5 liter = 3.58 2 drops added to 5 liter = 6.02 1 drop added to 5 liter = 7.4 |

I would leave it there.... Just stick your fish in, you'll be trying to buffer your pH up before you know it. |
