I thought it was just star anise, but googling proved me wrong. Best of luck. |

Hey Red, Vic Park farmers market every Sunday. John McMillan park from memory (Kent st?) More of a breakfast place when we visited due to the forecast of a shower or two. There was only one fella selling plants but I understand there are usually more. He had many interesting and rare plants including the liquorice and as per usual I got sucked in and added to my rare and unusual (and generally useless) plant collection. The liquorice ($7), being a deciduous, was his first one large enough ready for sale this spring but had more coming through in the near future as the weather warms. We will be going back for a breakfast in a couple of weeks so I can grab one for ya if you like but there were some other very cool plants you might be interested in. |
