I've been looking at other posts and it looks like broad beans are a winner.
Beetroot would be a goer as well.

My bro in law is in canberra and he has real success with tomatoes, silver beet.

Not much success with asian greens as they go to seed quickly in his sunny hot spot.

Most things grow well in AP no matter where you are living. :thumbleft:

You shouldn't have too much trouble growing what ever you want Aussiecroc... unless it's tropical...

Plant whatever you desire... and give it a go...

In Mitcham (Melb) - we have successfully grown:

Chinese Water Chestnuts :)
Lettuce (many varieties) :)
Okra :)
Beetroot :)
Tomatoes (many varieties)
Snow Peas :)
Capsicum :)
Chilli
Beans (many varieties)
Vietnamese Mint (or is it Thai Basil???)
Watercress :)
Rosemary
Basil
Chinese Turnips (Asian White Radish???)
French Breakfast Radish
Zucchini (took up too much room in GB!!!)
Cucumber (took up too much room in GB!!!)
Broccolini
Chinese Broccoli
Lemon Grass
Spring Onion
Chives :)
"Arthritis Plant" :)
Mini Eggplant

:) = grew very well in AP

I think I should have pics to prove all of the above - but I don't have time atm!!!
