Couldn't find an entry on the species forum for carrots - MODS please delete if I missed it....
I'd like to grow some in the AP. I've planted some seeds that come in the easy plant paper strips, though they have not germinated - Not sure if that was due to them being old seeds or if I'm doing something else wrong (planted in Nov in Perth). The flood level comes up to the seeds so perhaps they are getting too wet (running 15min flood 45 min drain cycle).
Some googling produced references saying carrots don't do well in AP, though other hits show people harvesting nice purple ones from AP so its obviously possible...
Any tips welcome
