Hi all,
Haven't had any luck with my zucchini in the aquaponics. The male flowers open and then wither eventually and die. The female flowers don't ever seem to open. I've got zuchinni in my traditional garden planted at the same time and the plants are alot larger and there is fruit growing quite well. Although not side by side, I think the plants receive the same amount of light each day.
Are zuchinni in aquaponics more susceptible to mould?
I can't remember the variety, but have run out of seeds anyway. Are there better varieties for aquaponics?
Thanks everyone

How lucky are you, now you don,t have to give them all to your friends. How lucky are your friends also? ;-)

I'd grow your zucchinis in the garden, or a wicking bed...

It's not that they wont grow in aquaponics... it's just they take up so much room in a grow bed.. for a limited return...

Thanks everyone, will replace them with something else.
Giving away zuchinnis could be a quick way to lose friends, hehehehehehe, that's what family is for!
