Hello all - I've been lurking for a week or so checking out people's systems and various dramas with aquaponics. My interest in aquaponics has come from planning for "retirement" and a foreseen need to produce our own food and my partner's desires to raise edible fish. I did an aquaponics course over the weekend in Perth and I can see how it will work for us down the track. We've bought a property in regional Victoria and eventually we'll get an aquaponics setup there. In the mean time I'll continue to lurk to keep up with this new field. My professional background includes a lot of work that involves pumping and piping (especially from a technical point of view) so would be happy to contribute with anything pump related. |

The property is just out of Euroa. We fully intend to keep it small to start with (doesn't make sense to go all out with no experience) and hopefully it all goes downhill (really well) from there |

We won't move there straight away, but we've got to head there to inspect it before it settles, so I wouldn't mind stopping by if it is possible |
