Been lurking the forum for a week or so gleaning info here & there...
Looking at setting up a system with 3 IBC's we purchased a month back but not for a while yet due to various reasons... Going to start off with a small Barrel system just to get some experience & maybe some Bacteria to move over to the large system to help jump start the cycling (I hope
)... Planing on a small flood & drain to start off with... Have a mothballed Hydro pump, a ½ barrel as a GB, a whole barrel as a FT, + some bits we have laying around & will buy a few gold fish to start us off... Would like to get some Jade Perch for the larger system eventually... Already have a rather large veggie patch made up of Wicking beds, barrels & a few buckets... I see AP a natural progression to get some healthy, home grown Protein onto the table... Will be taking down one of the Wicking beds to install the larger system, but that will be later... Want to learn how to walk before I take the leap...
Shall post update shots & a clip or 2 once we work out exactly what & how we will do the build...
