after several visits to this site and endless trawling through video and written material I started a little tester system in my kitchen with a few goldfish last july, with varying success, but now , after a lot of saving I have just started to build a 1000 litre system in my garden here on the north wales coast. I have taken photos and video, and I have a You Tube channel called "aquaponicsrhyl" where you can see my progress so far.I will start a journal here, but for now this is just a brief hello from me and thanks for all the help you have already given me ! until the next time |

Well, your varying success must have been pretty good to jump to a 1000 litre system. Look forward to your blog on the site. |

Good to see you documenting the process there.. Have you met Welshdragon? They have quite a big set up over there. |

thanks for the welcomes, well , in for a penny, in for a pound, rob, and I have only visited welshdragon's set up on line earthbound,but plan to visit at some point. I am in the process of compiling my first post, and building stuff outside., and taking video and photos too ! until then, cheerio |

Welcome! Nice to see another Welsh aquaholic! We have an Open afternoon here on Saturday June 26th from 1 - 6pm and you are more than welcome to visit us then and see what mischief we have been up to. We look foward to seeing your progress. |

As another UK representative, I'd like to say welcome. I'm based down here in London. But I am planning my holidays for this year. Sometime towards the end of June, in and around the North Wales areas (Criccieth, Pwllheli etc.) with short diversions to Llanerchymedd and Machynlleth (www.cat.org.uk). |

hello dragons, thanks for the invite welshdragon, I hope to attend, in any case I been on your website, nice set-up. maybe dragonc and I could meet up at welshdragons openday, how cool would that be? you can keep up with my adventures online through the you tube channel 'aquaponicsrhyl' I am in the process of compiling a build and grow report to post, but I'm spending more time trying to raise cash to finish off outside, still a ways to go. bye for now, off to do more outside whilst its hot !!! |
