Hi, Just started getting into Aquaponics via a Mate who is setting up a system. I am starting on a small system above my 6 foot Aquarium which houses 1x Long Neck Turtle 1x Salmon Tail Catfish 2x Red Scats I will get photos up when I can. I also have permission from the Minister of War and Finance to set up a Large system (hopefully around 5000 Litres which Im hoping to raise Bream, I know what your thinking, From the NT why arent I going with Barramundi? Put simply I shouldnt have the issues of Cannibalism with Bream that you get with Barra so I can keep a very diverse range of size fish in the same environment plus I can keep different species with them if I want. i.e Catfish. I have about 15 years experience in Fish Keeping, I just never thought to apply the Nitrogen Cycle to growing plants. Cheers Dave |
