It has literally been all I can do to not just run outside and start filling the tank with water. I want terribly to be neck deep in this but I am not willing to kill a bunch of fish or feed them if I cant eat them. So I wait. I have found liners that are made for the exact stock tank I just got for about $300. I think I am going to make two big flood tables with clay balls. I have a friend with solid carpentry skills and my land is on a HUGE clay bar. I can literally make my own clay balls with a sour cream scoop. Its tedious and it isnt free because they do have to be fired but it is cheaper than buying new. This is going to take me maybe most of the summer to pull off but I will be doing almost all the work myself and progressing at the speed of paychecks (whats left of them anyway) and should finish just in time for the real hot part of the year with out using credit.

What size grow beds are appropriate for an 800gal/3000l fish tank?

Sandman,

Understand the addiction and urgency!! I liken it a little to the SIM games friends play on the computer.. always building and adding to the set-up, only we have something to show for the time investment.

LOVE the sig pic. RLTW!!
