Hi Newbie in Geelong,

This forum is a fantastic source of answers, you aquaponacists are a different lot scared I may fit right in.
Understand that there may be a meet and greet in Melbourne would like to come along if new people are welcome.
Little about myself at present I work for the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden foundation as a garden teacher and would love to build a small system to show the children. Also would love to have a system at home but just gathering information, design phase soon and than I will spend the kids inheritance.
Regards, Brendan

Howdy.

We are holding the "getogether" at our place in Wyndham Vale not too far from you. I also have a small interest in the Kitchen garden program. Feel free to come along.

Here's the info.

Hi Brendan,
Glad to see that you found the forum. Lots of info to help you decide what and how it can all be done.
Good luck and just a word of warning there is no turning back when the aquaponics bug takes hold.

Thanks Embi and Faye,

It is my daughters's birthaday on the 22nd, my anniversary on the 25th and my wifes birthday on the 28th of March.
I will be there but this is going to cost me a lot of brownie points.
I have caught the bug already it is actually quite scary :D

Hi Embi,

I will bring some garlic, chives, basil and red onions all grown in the school garden.
Jumped onto your wood oven website and I tip my hat to you for your very kind donation, Westgarth must have been ecstatic with your very kind donation.
Being as involved in the program as I am it is often very difficult operating on such a tight budget.
Fairly keen on unusual edibles and if you would like I am happy to bring along cuttings.
Let me know and I will supply a plant list.

Brendan

Hi Brendan,

That would be great. I am starting to look into weird and wonderful plants in the Diggers catalogue etc so would welcome any suggestions.

Mark
