Heya,

My name's Amanda and I live in Mundaring, WA and by geeze it is so hot here today I am sure that if I had a tank I would jump right in it and go swimming with the fishes

I just want to say that I AM NOT ADDICTED TO AP, no sir-ee not at all. I don't have a system (yet) so how could I be? [insert denial emoticon here]

Thank you all for sharing so much information and helping us newbies on our way. I think I will be building my system from recycled things so it will be a slow process but I am so excited about it.

Yay! AP RULZ

Who are you calling an addict?? Most of us only spend most of our available time either on the AP forum or upgrading the AP system/setup. That's all...

Anyways, welcome to the addiction... there is no turning back now... and the worst of all, they don't have a rehab program available yet... so you are a goner like the rest of us...

OK guys, I am a qualified counsellor, so my advice to EVERYONE on the forum is, the best way to cure myself, I mean yourselves of your addiction is through sensory overload. That's right, overload all of your senses with things to do with AP and you'll reach AP nirvana, I mean, cure your addiction

I've just had another AP high this weekend adding 2 growbeds and a tank. Huge thanks to Dean and his wife who are my "dealers". But right now I am on a low as I have to be stuck at work and not finishing it off.

How do you think I feel, ive been stuck on the couch for the last 5 weeks only being able to spend 10mins at a time out at the AP due to a knee reconstuction. Ive been getting my fix through this forum though, thanks for supporting my habit guys.

that is the problem with AP.

you get this intense high, planning, building, cycling, getting your fish etc.

then once it is all running and working, it takes just 10 minutes a day, and tinkering can be detrimental, so once you have killed your first batch of fish, you stop tinkering.

Then you come to the forums, to just *talk* to someone who is starting out, so you can live vicariously through *their* high.

that is why we love the pictures of new systems.

*sob*

help me

Ha! was at bunnings today and asked about storage containers. They have some really good ones of about 220lts. Possible pump sump for my sump tank.
