From Kea'au, near Hilo on the Big Island.

We have three acres of tropical rainforest, operate a bed and breakfast http://www.artandorchids.com and I work as an electrical contractor.

I have been considering building an aquaponics system for some time, and now it is time to get serious. This site will be a great help.

Welcome Jerry,
and good on ya for posting a pic with your first post! You've done your homework enough to know we love pictures.

I look forward to seeing how you transform that bare dirt into a flourishing AP system!

Aloha to you too Jerry.

I'd have to agree with Rupert, AP is getting big here in Hawaii. I guess it's the good growing conditions and the fact that we have like 80% of everything we eat shipped in to us. Can't hurt to save some money in this economy.
Good luck with your system and I can't wait to see more pics. You got alot of space and before you know it you'll probably have some monster systems.
