I have been trialing 2 IBC's since December 2008 - some Barra in one and Comets in the other
The Barra tank has gone berserk and the comets - so so Hoping to get some Trout in a week or so, fingers crossed -so any advice re growing Trout would be great
Will post some pics as soon as the camera and i get along a bit better :

Welcome aboard Magam... you're in good company... plenty of folks around your way... and most of them trout growers through winter...

I'll let them introduce themselves...

Welcome magam :flower:
trout are easy if the basic rules are followed.
.Good ratio of GB to FT
.temp in FT between 5 - 22ish c
.lots of air
.lid on your FT
.feed good food
.and other stuff I can't just remember.

My system thread is below but quite a boring read if you're not me :flower:
some of the pics are fun and I keep trout and marron (keep/eat same thing  )

G'day Magam.

C1 (Creative1) is a very strong advocate for a fish tank lid!!, much to his dogs dismay.

What size grow beds do you have?
