I'm Emjaye and live near melbourne in Victoria 8)

Someone linked to this site after I complained about trying to grow my own vegies in melb during water restrictions. Thanks Trentski 8)

So I have had a look around and have decided to be educated about aquaponics and convert my old 3mtrx3mtr vegie patch to a site for aquaponics. i just need to find supplies near home.

Where exactly is home MJ? Supplies are readily available out bush, excepting second hand IBCs they seem to be as rare as hen's teeth.

Wow, you actually mean near to Melbourne, I was afeared it would be a country mile ;-)
Landmark sell nice tubs you can use for growbeds. see "kenny's System" user Kenour for details.
The IBCs I got were from down your way too, Dandy's not bad for industrial waste.

they are 1000 ltr containers that have a metal cage around a plastic container

you would probably know 1 if you were shown a picture of 1 :)

I have nothing but praise for his customer service too. Nothing has been a hassle at all and as he didnt have the colour tank I wanted in stock he is bringing another one over tomorrow. When the one I want arrives he is helping me swap them over.... you cant beat that sort of service.

I have no affiliation either...

Oh!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't know you were in greensborough!!! Nor that you had a shop! ppl are too modest and anti advertising on here... probably a good thing, but maybe we could have a 'Commercial AP related Advertising thread' where spruking your company is not taboo
