Hiya guys and girls, I only found this site last night so I haven't had a great deal of reading time as of yet.

I am sure from what I have seen so far that I have a LOT to learn

Currently my system is not strictly forming with the aquaponics method as it has no return to the fish as of yet, I simply water my vegies via a 13mm pvc drip/spray system.
I am currently looking at making a new system based on a 5000lt Heeble Block pond. This will give me the chance to set up the system in a more suitable fashion.

I currently have a in 2000lt inground pond housing 15 Koi carp. Vegies I have harvested so far include;
Strawberries
Pumpkins
Lettuce
Basil
Thyme
Mint
Tomatoes

If you would like to have a look at the set up I will post a couple of pics after with an explanation as to how the system operates presently.

Pleasantly warm... with a stiff sea breeze... about 32...

In fact ... if you look at the figures for Jan and this month... it's been consistantly warm up here in the Gong (averaging about 29/30) ... no doubt sweltering in Nowra...

With a total of 2mm of rain in about 38 days... compare that to Jaymie... who's had about 1000mm in the same time span....

Ahhhh.... Queensland.... not so perfect one day.... and bloody horrible the next...
