Hi, this is a very informative site.
A little about myself;
I have an indoor tropical fish breeding set up (2200 gallon) on 5 systems, each with a 18" x 72" sump.
I have lighting on each tank as I am growing tropical plants and mosses to reduce nitratrs in the systems, as well to sell to hobby gowers.
I would like to try a raft system in the sumps.
Any suggestions as what to plant?? Water temperature is 80 degrees F. with head space of 18".
I also have a family of 4 and greens are always appreciated at the table.
Thanks and see you online.
Thanks in advance.

Leaf lettuce and spinach are great as one can pick off some leaves and the plant will grow more. With head lettuce one needs to replant. Dw like butterhead type of lettuce.

Temperature might be too warm for most lettuce, but try it. Some varieties are known for being heat/bolting resistant.
