hi all a newbie in sunbury, saying hi :o , (and yes i know I'm near F&F i met him at the tip looking for a bath tub :P small world huh?).

At the moment I'm just "Testing the waters" (pardon the pun :P ) with a small system (200ltr tank with a 40ltr grow bed, no fish as yet I'm letting it get settled a little first, but just Goldie's for starters).

but i have plans for a rather waisted bit of space that is sandwiched between my shed and next doors shed should make for a nice 4000+ltr tank :) and gets no full sun so should be good for fishies

Jumping 3 Verses VB? We could have made this thread go on for pages of silence :-) I guess the relevance of the line allows forgiveness...

yeah the "pond" will be on the south side of the north fence (shaded by next doors shed) and the plants will be on the north side of the south fence in a lifted frame (i am also planing to have the sump underneath covered by shade cloth with yabbies growing)

so i can use gravity to drain into the sump and from the beds to the pond and just use the pump for the sump to the beds with a continuous flow (but F&D via auto syphons)

Apparently they are all singing. Don't know what a spar bath at the tip means. Like a stairway to heaven, theres a spar bath at the tip.

i met F&F at the tip looking for a bath to start my system in, and yeah singing simon & garfunkel "the sounds of silence"

thanks for the spot F&F but i think a spa bath would be too full of holes :P just a normal bath to start i think..
