Glad to find you lot, but you really messed up my plans!

I was reasearching Natural Pools (no chemicals, filter with vegetation) and how I might incorporate one with some fish production as well as treating waste water with plants, and voila! I got introduced to Aquaponics.

So now I've been thinking of re-designing my whole lanscape/water system to incorporate Aquaponics. The whole idea just seems too logical.

Now i'm keen to get my feet wet. I'll read a few more posts before I ask what kind of set-up I should try and begin with

I must say how impressed I am with variety of system designs and the results I see here.

Christopher is in Belize, and still doesn't have a system set up

I just finished reading about the system completed by CRTree Dude. Mighty impressive indeed. I hope to have a visit and learn a thing or two... or thirty eight.

I am in the Pacific Reigion where we get 6 months of hot sun with LOTS of wind and 6 months of mostly rain so the conditions are quite different. We are even further away from the main city where it's likely you'll only find 50% of whats on your list!

Ahhh, the challenge that awaits!
