hi all ,, my names matt and i have been trolling around this site for a while now. i love the idea of fresh fish and veg at my back door and i cant wait to make a start. what fish do people down my way use as winter gets cold . and can anyone tell if AP systems have to comply with pool fencing laws? thanks and i hope to chat with MOST of you.... matt ps im in batemans bay nsw |

hi Matt...I've been watching for hours for that extra spring in her step  Not sure of the fencing rules in your council area but it should be easy to do a search on the net....apart from that, for peace of mind alone, I would make it kid safe Winter is nearly over mate but a few BYApers are successfully trialling trout as a winter fish...best to start with silver perch or jades in the 1st year to get the system settled (and to gain some experience  )
