G'day, I'm in th ACT, growing lots of gourmet mushrooms. I'm eager to set up an AP system, but for now I can learn and dream. My neighbours are setting up a system, so I hope to get my hands wet. Anyhow, glad to be a member here-lots more inspiration. Cheers |

Hi there Wannabe.... glad to have you aboard... get onto those neighbours of yours and invite them to join as well.... We'll trade you.... we'll answer all your questions about AP... if you answer all ours about growing mushrooms...  Seriously... many here have expressed a desire to grow mushrooms... maybe you could share your experience with us. |

No worries RupertofOz. Be happy to share some experiences. I can turn free "waste", into food, very easily. Costs me about $1 in gas, bags, gypsum and sundries to make about $30 worth of mushrooms (at current supermarket prices). And that's just the first couple of flushes-after that I bury them in the garden, and up pop mor mushies. I have built a small lab, so it's a bit easier for me-but the "lab" has only cost me about $500 all up, and with a bit more patience a decent lab could be knocked up for much less. |
