hi as with others ive been lurking for while and must say the resources to be found on this site are excellent. content ,tech info and general advice and positive imput is great ive got plans with the system i want to put together and i will definatley need help and advice it will based around a ten thousand litre pool (which i stole back from my children ) since they swim at neighbours because its bigger and heated i will need advice on pumps which i have three of grow bed sizes etc i have the materials collected from demos at work to construct a decent sized green house and over half an acre to play with for space so fire away with ideas and suggestions and i,ll thank you now in advance.........

Is the pool inground or above?

its above ground and ive got a block with a gentle slope to also a mate with a back hoe if needed.

That makes it easy, I am assuming that the block slopes away from the pool, if so:

Have the pool at the top, this overflows into the flood and drain siphon growbeds, then drains into a sump tank in the ground below the beds. A pump with float pumps the water from the sump back up to the pool, which overflows etc etc :)

im keeping the pool, thanks for the interest .just have to move the chooks and level things out where i want to put the pool up ,im thinking of trout because of the winter temps here would suit them and in summer the pool should be shaded by a large tree and i,ll use 90 shade cloth to help keep temps down

will robinson only came about because my wife has commented about the amount of time i spend lost in space/on the net reading about fish and vegies :flower:
