Hiya Myke, welcome to the forum. Although learning from others mistakes is advantageous nothing teaches better than your own mistakes.  Plenty of mistakes on this forum to learn from, check out the members build threads or any threads that start with ‘oops’, ‘help’ and ‘my fish died’.  Tell us more about the system you’re planning Myke. |

Hi Skeggley, I have a 30X40 barn, and my plan is to build a lean-to green-house on the south (40 foot) wall, I'm thinking 16 feet. I am hoping to put an 8 or 10 foot stock tank in the barn to help keep it cooler, and stocking it with trout. I am sketching out plans trying to get the best layout, but my thought is 4 or 5 plant boxes 3 feet by 8 feet. It's still early in the planning, so it may change 20 times by the time I read and research and start building. Myke |

Hello from a fellow Colorado boy. I've been through Simla a time or two. It's not too different from my town (Aguilar- 400 souls). Good luck with your project! You've definitely come to the right place. Based on my experience, it's highly doubtful that you'll encounter a problem or mystery that these fine folks haven't thoroughly mastered. |

Welcome Myke. I’m new to all of this and found the info on this forum to be invaluable that’s why I signed up. Good luck with your system. I’d suggest creating a build thread and post up your designs for comments before committing to build.
