new member here and very green when it comes 2 aquaponic. Bought a complete kit that's running inside my second living room , it's run by 2 LED lights from california lightwork. Solar extreme 250 and 500, did run into a issue where I lost rainbow trout but i'm hoping I can restart it soon again. my main question is how do i keep the fish bed clean when the trout were in they pooped so much there was a huge buildup in a matter of a day at the bottom which increased nitrites tru the roof .
current levels right now is :
PH: 7.4
Ammonia 0.5 ppm
Nitrite is hard to determine with api kit it's either 2 or 5 ppm
nitrate: around 10 ppm
So any tips to reduce my nitrite and tips for adding 5-10 gold fish to the system.
