Hi everyone
I spent many years in the early 1980's developing recirculating aquatic systems here in the UK. I then became more involved in ornamental fish and water gardening. In the mid 1990's I got into conservation and have recently retired from a water utility company.
I have always thought i should share some of my early experiences and so started to write a book on growing on koi in a RAS. During this process I 'discovered' aquaponics and really wanted to get more involved. I have an allotment and polytunnel and naturally wanted to try to 'pull it all together' with the help of members of this forum.
I've designed a couple of AP systems on paper and really need to now get them built.
Looking forward to exchanging ideas and seeing things from a refreshingly new perspective.
