I have dabbled in small scale aquaponics setups over the years but I have finally had enough of maintaining a backyard pool that hardly gets used so I'm turning my 60,000L pool into a pond stocked with silver perch and trout. The plan is to gradually connect in some growbeds but will start with grow-rafts and potted/bagged plants and work up from there.

Happy for anyone to point me in the direction of posts where others have done this already as I expect I'll have a steep learning curve ahead.

Ash

many posts on pools & large ponds... best bet is to hit the search initially and find a few that suit.
Then come back to this thread with specific questions (and to post some pictures !!)

you can make the search easier by using the advanced search and returning only topics
[display results as: topics ]

instructions here > viewforum.php?f=4

a couple of threads you turn up will have links within them to the better threads...

happy reading...
