Hi everyone. Craig here. i am just very new to aquaponics as i don't have a system yet. Still in research mode. I would like to meet some people in my area which is out west of Geelong at Inverleigh.

Don't mind traveling to the Bellarine Peninsula or down the surf coast or Ballarat or south west.

I'm looking at starting to set up asap . I want to be able to start small and add on to my system over time. Area isn't an issue as i have 70 acres to play with. :D

look forward to hearing from anyone in these areas.

Cheers Craig

Welcome Craig, starting this the right way...

make sure you fully understand *how to cycle a system* before you start, and use other newbie posts to try and avoid some of the pitfulls of those who rush in... you wont have to look too far.

keep it simple.... just have a few fish for first 6-12 months to get the system running sweetly before you load it up,...and make sure you have the proper gear to test your water...and understand your water *BEFORE* you add fish.

Lots of ideas around the forum, and there are quite a few Victorians in the traps - though many closer to fringes of Melbourne.

Pete's is a good Vic story....

and there are many other Vic systems to get ideas from.

and many other worthy BYAP members from the chilly state.
