Hi I am a Newbie in Adelaide. I have just recently set up a 2nd hand aquaponic system. I justed added a teaspoon of potassium bicarbonate as I had a 1kh carbonate reading. How periodically should I add potasium carbonate and how much of it to increase the Kh level. I have an IBC tank and grow bed with no sump. Any advice is gratefully accepted. thanks |

Welcome to another newbie. I'm also interested in the response to Pot Bicarb. I'm dosing mine by trial and error, trying to balance various limes/K Bicarb to get hardness up a tad. My hardness sits around 2-3 using the API dKH kit since setting up about 6 weeks ago, pH is stable at around 7.4. |
