Hi all here, I'm from Central South-Africa and just trying to find out more about Aquaphonics before I start doing it this side of the world. Basically just reading up and checking some videos on Aquaphonics, like educating myself, but some question came up and that's what pushed me to real human interaction, as no-one near me is doing aquaphonics, they still farm the traditional way in my area. Hope I can borrow some knowledge here.... |

Thank you Tonzz, yes SA and Australia temperature is very similar. Although different part of SA also have different climate, I'm from Central SA, so here we have cold Winters(can drop to -5) and warm summers(can reach 35) |

welcome to the forum. the IBCofAquaponics link at the top of the page provides a great introduction. You can use alternate tubs/tanks etc but the principles are the same. Also google "FAO small scale aquaponic food production" - it is a very comprehensive reference and you will get the PDF from the search. otherwise browse around - lots of ideas around here. |
