im glad to find this forum with lots of good information,i designed and made my aquaponics system since 8 months ago with small iQ3 tank i had , it is about 7 liters . i started with one goldfish small size . picture below is for my system . the age of plants is 2 mounts. i had aquarium for 8 years and the experience of that really helped me to make small eco system stable . for grow bed i design for my small tank and then 3d printed. the system control by arduino nano . my system is desktop and placed on my desk so most important thing for such system is light . im going to make LED grow light ( i can to buy but i prefer to make).
