Thanks for the ad. Looks like a great site with member from all over the world. We are in North Central Texas. I see there are several members from our state. I have been looking into this hydroponic, aeroponic and aquaponic growing and it sure looks like it can produce. We are city dwellers and compost and grow in dirt. We went to the State Fair and saw a pretty large hydroponics setup with styrofoam "lettuce rafts" . This setup had a pool pump to move the liquid around and an underwater pipe setup to distribute the water and nutrient solutions in the pool. The pool was a pond liner build over s wood structure. The guys manning the setup said they seeded regularly and used a hydroponic cart with grow lights(from hort America's, this is why I went to see the setup as I know the people at the hort America's place in Euless tx). It looked like a doable thing we could do in our back yard but I want to include the fish as part of the setup. I also looked at many clips on the YouTube. Several by a guy self named as the aquaponic god. Not trying to be a biscuit head I went to the google which brought me here. Looking forward to interacting with the group. I hope I can bring something and also gain knowledge for a successful setup. Thanks again for letting me on! |

Here's my guess - Basically saying he's the new guy from Dallas Fort Worth Texas with an F on that first bit just for extra emphasis
