Hey everyone, Andreas here! I've been practicing urban gardening for quite some time, namely with tropicals, but I've recently found myself venturing into the wonderful, wacky world of aquaponics and hydroponics.
Recently graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science, I work for an LA-based nonprofit that installs and maintains small to medium-sized aquaponic systems in school classrooms, community centers, and restaurants. I have dabbled in alternative energy, climate science, soil science, and social entrepreneurship in the past. I also am an electronic music DJ / producer who is heavily involved in LA's music scene. I seek to be a well-rounded individual!
I'm eager to dive deeper and learn more about this awesome technique for growing food, as well as share what expertise I've already gained!
