Hello Gang...
New member registering saying "hello". Been doing this for quite a few years. Current set up is in the barn with flood/drain beds powered by tilapia. Mostly done as a hobby, but needing to add a greenhouse in the new future. Aquaponics is currently still in the research stage for us as cost analysis shows it still cannot compete commercially in our area with traditional farming and local hydroponic production. We do have 18.5 kWh of solar mounted on the barn along with off-grid capabilities for any that are interested in discussing such information. The previous forum I was part of seems to have dried up and gone away. Looking for a new family and hope to both learn and share with this group. We can be sporadic in our participation depending in the time of year due to our main farming responsibilities.
